This microliter pump from 2E Mecha-tronics allows medical and environmental
laboratories to impel a variety of fluids and
gases with a quick change pump cartridge
system that allows up to 10 separate flow
channels. It is designed to avoid cross
contamination of fluids. The pump features
five independent flow channels but, the
modular construction makes it possible to
increase the number of channels to 10.
The flow rate of the pump can also be
varied by varying the speed of the motor
or by using tubes with different internal
diameters. The fluid driving part of the
pump which comes into contact with the
conveyed material can be exchanged by
means of a simple coupling action.
Threaded Aluminum Inserts
PennEngineering’s SI branded threaded aluminum inserts are designed as lead-free and
lightweight alternatives to brass components.
Approximately 70 percent lighter than brass
equivalents, they can be specified for all
types of SI inserts. SI threaded inserts have
been engineered in a variety of designs and
lengths – including micro fastener versions
with threads as small as M1 – and can be
supplied in unified or metric thread sizes.
The Type S ferrule, Click-N-Seal fitting from Diba Industries, Inc. is designed for liquid
chromatography applications and other smaller, precision fluid connections such as
those found on HPLC instruments. It ensures leak-free and secure seal rated up to 2,500
pounds per square inch (psi). The connection system provides a secure, tool-free way to
connect 1/16” OD PEEKTM tubing into a 10-32 HPLC-type conical port. The system uses
Diba’s patented Click-N-Seal torque limiting fitting, which eliminates guesswork and ensures a proper finger-tight connection without the possibility of under- or over-tightening.
